Well I have finally taken the plunge and ordered a Nokia N800 internet tablet. I know that it has been out for quite a while now, and I would prefer the N810, but to be honest, for £130 shipped it was too good an opportunity to miss. I also think at this price, it perhaps brings consumers into the mix, that would have previously not considered one.
These things are currently selling on eBay for around £160, so if the N810 gets a price drop in early 2008, I shouldn't have too much trouble shifting it for around the same price I got it for, in order to upgrade.
